I am sick to death of myself. I need to lose 160 pounds. I haven't rode horse in a year and I have no energy or will power. I am so disgusted with myself I could spit bullets. I know I have to get my huge dead ass moving and I have the know how and I have the motivation right in front of me everyday but I don't do it. so what does it take to stick with it. I kinda hate myself but I really hate how I feel and look. My huband married a fox and now he has a pig for a wife and he still loves me and I love that man for it.
HELP I need ideas that don't cost a fortune.
I have never put this in writing, hell I have never even said this aloud before.
My biggest weakness is sweets (chocolate is the worst).

<<HUGS>> It sounds like you picked the right group to bare your soul to! A lot of us, me included, have reached a point where we really want to make a change. I'm taking one day at a time. If I slip, I'm not getting upset, just getting back on track. I'm also making my overall goal into smaller goals, otherwise it's just too much for me. I don't want to take the all or nothing approach, or I just won't do it. I'll work one piece of my goal at a time So, an inexpensive way to start is a daily walk. Can you get your hubby to walk with you? Mine does, and it's nice, we really get a chance to talk. Normally we don't because we're always trying to get so much done that there isn't a lot of time left over. It's pretty enjoyable, and of course great exercise!

I would think that if you really need to lose 160 pounds that you should get a Dr. appointment and some feedback from him/her. Like JZ said start walking even if it's just from farther out in the parking lot. Reduce your portions and try to fill up on veggies, replace desserts with fruit etc. Every little bit helps but the biggest thing is to keep moving.

OK I have somethings I should tell you guys. Due to weird health things we have had our well water tested and it is very high in sodium which is now a large part of the reason I have very high sodium in my blood. I have learned that sodium can stop your whole body's normal processing. We have a distiller and all our drinking water has to go through that. I have also been diagnosed with a sluggish thyroid. So if I can get my life together and I am hoping with the help of God and some good old fashion butt kicking I can get going because otherwise this is going to kill me.
Here is a challenge for ya. I would love to be able to keep fruit in the house all the time but my kids (especially my son) LOVE it. I mean they will move mountains to get it. Just when I get a system in place I turn around and my fruit is gone.

Atleast they are eating fruit and not junk food.
